The US president said the ceasefire "puts an end" to the conflict.
US President Donald Trump responded in the affirmative when asked if the war in Gaza can be considered officially over, CNN reported.
When Trump was walking through the Knesset building in Jerusalem, a reporter asked him if the war was now "officially over."
"Yes," Trump replied, reiterating his position and previous comments that the cease-fire agreement he helped broker means a definitive end to the conflict.
Trump had earlier written a message in the Israeli parliament's visitors' book.
"I am honored - a wonderful and beautiful day. A new beginning," the president wrote, and then signed his name.
Trump arrived in Israel amid residents watching the process of releasing hostages from the captivity of the Hamas terror group.
Remember, on the morning of October 13, Hamas released and handed over to the Red Cross the first seven of the twenty living hostages.
