This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Kirill Budanov.

Budanov believes that the basis of Ukraine's security in the future should be the rejection of the resource and raw materials model in favor of a high-value-added economy, the development of a modern high-tech defense-industrial complex and the formation of a clear grand strategy of the state

"Ukraine's grand strategy is necessary for us to finally determine our place and role in the new world and confidently move towards this goal," the head of the GSD stressed.

Budanov also stressed that Ukrainian society must realize that the coming years "will not be cloudless."

"This does not mean that we will be at war all the time, but we must be ready to fight back, including armed, at any moment," he said.
