Oil Depot In Crimea Cannot Be Extinguished For The Fourth Day

It was attacked by a Ukrainian drone.

In the village of Gvardeyskoye, located in annexed Crimea, a fire at an oil depot has been going on for the fourth day longer. On Monday afternoon, a small smoke was observed above the facility, and the burning tank was watered with water from three fire trucks, but already on October 21, the fire broke out with a new force, the monitoring channel "Crimean Wind" writes.

A column of black smoke rose into the sky, which can be seen even from remote settlements.

Information about the new fire was confirmed by Radio Liberty, which studied satellite images. According to the data received, at least five fuel tanks had burned at the oil depot by Tuesday morning.

The facility belongs to the Kedr company, which owns the largest network of gas stations in Crimea under the ATAN brand. Ukraine's armed forces struck the oil depot with drones on October 17, with the General Staff saying the RVS-2000 tank was hit. This night, new explosions occurred in the area of the facility. Residents of Gvardeyskoye said that they heard the sounds of drone flight, followed by the air defense system. The Russian Defense Ministry did not report about the AFU attack on Crimea in its morning bulletin.
