US President Donald Trump's likely confessor, American Christian preacher Mark Burns criticized the White House chief executive's behavior during a summit with Russian dictator Putin on social media X on August 16.
He said America must stand on the side of truth and justice and called the leaders' meeting a "critical moment" for the United States and the "world's struggle for freedom."
"This is not a time for empty gestures. This is a time for bold leadership. Peace does not come by suppressing victims or rewarding aggression. It comes through firm adherence to principles," Burns wrote.
The preacher emphasized that Ukraine has repeatedly agreed to ceasefires, unlike aggressor country Russia, which violates those agreements and continues to escalate violence.
"Innocent families are being destroyed. Lives are being lost. [...] We do not serve the God of confusion. We serve a God of justice, and justice demands that we stand with Ukraine and speak truth to power," Burns said.
