The Security Service of Ukraine has put Russian rapper Timati (real name - Timur Yunusov) on the wanted list. Information about this is posted in the wanted database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine
as of Monday, September 8. The musician has been on the wanted list since July 1. Russian media have only now paid attention to this. Previously, Timati's wanted status was not reported.
The SBU in June accused Timati in absentia of repeatedly violating the procedure for entering the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. According to the investigation, the Russian rapper participated at least seven times in concerts in Crimea, whose annexation was announced by Russia in 2014.
The SBU statement noted that Timati is "one of the participants of Russian propaganda" and was a proxy for Vladimir Putin in the 2012, 2018 and 2024 presidential elections.
