Serbia's Former President Appeared In A Campaign Ad Wearing A T-shirt With Offensive Slogans

Alexander Vučić is currently a candidate for the office of prime minister.

Former Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić posted a campaign video on his X page in which he appeared wearing a T-shirt covered in insulting labels.

In the video, band-aids bearing the words “traitor,” “autocrat,” “madman,” and other insults are stuck onto Vučić’s dark T-shirt. According to the politician, he has been hearing insults, lies, and threats for years.

“Some words hurt; some leave a mark. But they haven’t stopped us. They’ve taught us to work harder,” he noted.

Vucic is now the former president of Serbia and the prime ministerial candidate for the coalition centered around the Serbian Progressive Party. His presidential term ended on September 27, 2026—this date is listed in his biography on the president’s official website.
