Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian Shahed-type attack drone using a naval unmanned surface vessel equipped with a turret.

A video of the takedown was released by the Ukrainian Navy.

Navy personnel used a Sargan 3000 drone equipped with a turret. In the video, the Russian “Shahed” is hit by several bursts of machine-gun fire, after which the UAV is seen falling into the sea and exploding.

“The Shahed, which was part of a mesh network, was struck by fire from a turret mounted aboard the Sargan 3000 unmanned surface vessel. The Ukrainian Navy continues to carry out missions to protect Ukraine’s coastline and airspace,” the military commented on the video of the operation.
