Flight restrictions have been in place at the airport for more than three hours.

Ten planes bound for Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport were diverted to alternate airports, according to a statement from Vnukovo’s press office. Flight restrictions have been in place at the airport for more than three hours.

Restrictions at Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky were introduced around 3:20 p.m. Minsk time. Later, partial restrictions went into effect at Sheremetyevo—the airport is handling flights in coordination with the authorities.

Shortly after the airports were closed, the governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov reported a drone strike on Podolsk.
