AFU Hit Refining Units At The Ryazan Refinery

The Ukrainian Defense Forces on May 15 and on the night of May 16 struck a number of important Russian facilities both on the territory of Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the AFU General Staff.

In particular, the infrastructure of the Ryazan oil refinery, which was hit on the night of May 15, was confirmed to have been hit. According to the General Staff, AVT-3, AVT-4, AT-6 refining units, as well as a diesel hydrotreating unit were damaged.

The Ukrainian command noted that the Ryazan refinery is among the largest oil refineries in Russia and plays an important role in providing fuel to the Russian army.

In addition, the Ukrainian military hit several other targets over the past day and a half.

These include a Russian troops' control center near Pokrovsk, as well as a drone control center in one of the districts of the Donetsk region.

It was also reported that a hangar with enemy military equipment in Selidovo, a logistics warehouse in Baranikivka, Luhansk region, and a repair unit of the Russian forces in Privolye, Kherson region, were hit.

In addition, strikes were carried out on locations where Russian troops were concentrated in a number of localities in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya regions, including Shakhtyorsk, Mikhailovka, Yalta, Selidovo and Lyubimovka.
