What Awaits Russia In The Near Future

Analysis by a political-military expert.

Ukrainian military and political expert Dmitry Snegirev has recalled the dire state of the Russian economy, which is aggravated by the "Ukrainian sanctions".

"You and I, dear viewers, should have long ago been convinced that the "Ukrainian Budanov-Malyuk sanctions" are the most effective. Let's illustrate it with figures for understanding: those five largest refineries that have partially stopped production activities - that's 80 million tons of oil refining. Can you imagine, dear viewers, how much money they have already lost? Russians already have 30% problems with fuel," said Snegirev in an interview for the Pryamiy TV channel on YouTube.

The military-political expert made arguments in favor of the fact that the Russian economy is "cracking at the seams":

"The main thing in the figures: in April, the Russians' losses due to the strikes on refineries, according to the Defense Ministry's GUR estimates - 7 billion American dollars for the month. In May, the number of attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation increased by 40%. We can say that the losses for May will be about 10 billion. What does this mean in numbers for the Russian budget? According to Russian economists, the "hole" in the budget from January to May is 6 trillion Russian rubles and against the background of this catastrophic "hole" the expenditure part of the Russian budget is increased by 16%.

"Nabiullina comes out and says in all seriousness that in fact the only "donor" of the Russian economy will be the internal savings of Russians. They will reach into the pockets of ordinary Russians and take the last of it to be able to continue the active phase of hostilities in Ukraine. This is for Russians to understand what awaits you," Snegirev summarized.
