Traffic on the "Novorossiya" highway is disrupted.

Vsu-atakuyut-suhoputnyy-koridor-v-krym-narusheno-dvizhenie-po-trasse-novorossenie: traffic on the "Novorossiya" highway is disrupted, there is a fuel shortage on the peninsula.

According to "Meduza".

According to the publication, traffic on the federal highway R-280 "Novorossiya", which connects the Rostov region of the Russian Federation with the occupied Crimea, has become difficult due to attacks by Ukrainian drones. Due to the disruption of logistics on the peninsula, there were problems with fuel supplies. Some gas stations have restricted gasoline sales to 20 liters per customer per day, and some of them are temporarily out of fuel.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov said that the Ukrainian military is implementing a strategy of "logistical lockdown" for the Russian army. According to him, the purpose of such actions is to increase pressure on the occupiers' logistics and reduce their ability to conduct active offensive operations.

At the same time, the Russian-appointed "head of the occupation administration" of a part of Zaporizhzhya region, Yevhen Balitsky, said on May 29 that Ukrainian forces are allegedly using a complex system of remote mining. According to him, drones are dropping explosive devices that can be triggered during transportation. In this regard, he urged residents to temporarily limit travel without an emergency.

In the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region from May 21 there are restrictions on movement on the highway leading to Crimea. The corresponding order was signed by the Russian-appointed head of the occupation administration of the region Vladimir Saldo.

An exception was made only for vehicles carrying military cargo, fuel, medicines and perishable foodstuffs.

The Novorossiya highway runs from Rostov-on-Don through the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to Simferopol and is one of the key logistical routes for fuel supplies to Crimea.

In addition, fuel is delivered by ferries through the Kerch Strait, but the work of the crossing depends largely on weather conditions. At the same time, fuel is not transported across the Crimean bridge for security reasons, an adviser to the occupation head of Crimea, Oleksandr Talipov, said.

The Ukrainian drone strikes on the highway have caused a shortage of gasoline in occupied Crimea.
