Garry Kasparov: Only One Outcome Of The War In Ukraine Is Possible

It's just a matter of time

One of the leaders of the Russian opposition, Garry Kasparov, has said that he has no doubts about the liberation of Crimea, but believes it is impossible to predict a specific timeframe for such a development.

On the air of the YouTube channel "Free Russia Forum" Kasparov noted that there is now insufficient information for an objective assessment of the situation on the front and the prospects for further development of the war. At the same time, he emphasized that he considers the return of Crimea to Ukrainian control an inevitable outcome of the conflict.

The politician said the question is not if it will happen, but when exactly. He also drew attention to the growing logistical difficulties, which, in his opinion, the Russian group on the peninsula is facing.

Separately, Kasparov noted the effectiveness of Ukraine's actions in confronting a much larger enemy.

"It must be given credit that Ukraine, given the scale of the enemy it is fighting, has found an extremely effective method of fighting. This new type of warfare has created a fundamentally new situation, not even on the battlefield, but inside this entire conflict situation, because we have said many times that the outcome of the war in Ukraine will affect the entire world," he said.
