On June 16, the leaders of the G7 will hold a discussion on Ukraine.
French President Emmanuel Macron has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to attend the G7 summit.
The G7 summit will take place June 15–17 in the French city of Evian. The French leader announced this during a speech at the Élysée Palace.
As Macron noted, the G7 leaders’ summit in Evian will begin on Monday evening, June 15. First, the leaders will discuss key issues related to international crises behind closed doors.
“Then, on Tuesday morning, we will hold a discussion on Ukraine with President Zelenskyy, and this is very important for us because we need to restore unity within the G7 in support of Ukraine on various aspects of the war, including both support for negotiations and long-term support,” Macron said.
