The U.S. military will not launch strikes against Iranian territory tonight, U.S. President Donald Trump said.

“Given that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of the Iranian leadership and have received approval, I, as President of the United States, have canceled the strikes and bombings against Iran scheduled for this evening,”, he wrote on the social media platform Truth Social.

The U.S. president noted that the negotiations and their final terms were approved by all participants, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others.

Trump emphasized that the naval blockade will remain in full force until the deal is finalized. The time and place of the signing will be announced shortly, he added.
