In The Grodno Region, Officials Are Working Out The Details Of Mobilizing The Population

Training exercises with the region's military commissariats have begun.

Mobilization exercises have begun in the Grodno Region in coordination with the region’s military commissariats, according to the Ministry of Defense’s press service.

The exercises will last until June 26. They will focus on “the mobilization of citizens and vehicles within the region.”

“Conscripts will improve their military knowledge, familiarize themselves with weapons and military equipment, and learn to carry out tasks assigned by exercise commanders that require rapid decisions and actions. <�…> Citizens will be issued summonses requiring them to report to conscription assembly points for verification of their personal data,” the Ministry of Defense clarified.

During the exercises, “the sounds of simulated explosions and blank rounds may be heard.” Traffic restrictions may also be imposed on certain streets adjacent to military commissariats.
