Details have emerged regarding the aftermath of a Ukrainian UAV strike on the Azot plant in Novomoskovsk, Tula Oblast, at coordinates 54.084514° 38.181078°, which occurred two days ago.
The attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces resulted in damage to one of the plant’s workshops; its purpose is currently unknown. The precision of the UAV operators left the facility without any tanks of non-concentrated nitric acid, which were destroyed.
This was reported on the OSINT analysis channel “Dnipro (Garbuz)” on social media X.
The post also noted that the “Ammonia-4” unit, which produces 1.67 million metric tons of product per year, was damaged. "Azot" is a key industrial enterprise that produces chemicals used in the manufacture of explosives for the Russian Federation’s military, including ammonium nitrate, KAS-32, urea, nitrogen fertilizers, and methanol. The last time Ukrainian Armed Forces UAVs targeted “Azot” was on May 26.
