And this is just the beginning.
Russian blogger “Thirteenth” writes that Ukrainian strikes on Russian maritime logistics in the Azov and Black Seas have become a “catastrophe” for Russia. According to him, the destruction and disabling of ships is just one stage of Ukraine’s operation to isolate Crimea from mainland Russia, writes dialog.ua.
“What the Ukrainians have done to our logistics in the Azov and Black Seas, I can only describe as a ‘catastrophe.’ In their operation to isolate Crimea from the mainland, the destruction of maritime logistics is just one of the steps; there will be others, I’m sure. Now the price of wheat is determined not by the harvest, but by the question: Will the next ship reach the port, will it be able to unload and sail back?” wrote the Z-blogger.
He acknowledged that the speed with which Ukrainian forces struck at Russian shipping had become “truly nightmarish” for him.
According to his calculations, the first two ships were struck in the Sea of Azov on July 6, and 12 more the following day; On July 10, Russia closed the Azov-Don Canal to shipping, and by July 14, the number of ships hit had exceeded 100.
