A Military Unit Or A Fuel Oil Storage Facility At The "Kristall" Plant Is On Fire In Gomel

A strange fire broke out in the Novobelitsky District.

On August 13, at around 9:30 a.m., a fire was reported in Gomel. According to an analysis of the image, the fire may have started on the outskirts of the city’s Novobelitsky District—near a military unit or a fuel oil storage facility.

The fire was reported by the Telegram channel “Flagstok”. Analysis of a photograph obtained by the channel shows that the fire occurred on the outskirts of the Novobelitsky District of Gomel.

Judging by the angle of the photograph, the black smoke may have come from the territory of military unit 63604, where vehicles, light armored vehicles, and howitzers are stored, or from the boiler room of the “Kristall” plant, on whose grounds a fuel oil storage facility is located, the publication notes.

No official information about the fire has been released at this time. Local Telegram channels have also not reported on the incident. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
