"Bambi" Mission: Ukrainian Special Forces Captured The Occupiers And Rescued A Fawn

Details of an unusual operation have been revealed.

Ukrainian special forces soldiers from the 6th Special Operations Regiment (Rangers) captured three Russian occupiers. Another invader, who refused to surrender without a fight, was killed.

During this combat operation, the soldiers also rescued a baby fawn. Details of the operation were disclosed by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Special Operations Forces jokingly dubbed the operation—which concluded with the replenishment of the exchange fund and the rescue of a young fawn—"Operation Bambi."

The operation was carried out in one of the operational sectors. There, operators from the 6th Special Operations Forces Rangers Regiment “conducted special operations, captured three occupiers, and rescued a fawn.”

“Operating covertly, the Special Operations Forces operatives infiltrated the mission area and raided enemy positions. Upon discovering the enemy’s hiding places, the operatives offered them the chance to surrender without a fight, but the enemy did not take advantage of this opportunity,” the statement noted.

Karma for refusing to lay down their arms caught up with the invaders almost instantly. Following a brief firefight, one of the Russian servicemen was killed. The defenders took three more prisoners.

The prisoners were disarmed, and in addition to their weapons, their communication devices and documents were confiscated.

“During the special operations, an unexpected ‘participant’ was discovered—a fawn, which was evacuated from the danger zone,” the Special Operations Forces added, sharing touching footage of the rescued forest dweller.
