Sociopolitical activists connect their phones being turned off with the authorities' wish to disorganize their work on the observation process.

Sociopolitical activists from Magileu have their cell phones selectively turned off. It's impossible to contact with them as well as dial a number from their phones. It is known that in the first place human rights activists and politicians observing the election as well as journalists' phones are turned off, state «Human rights activists for free election».

Human rights activists Aliaksei Kolchyn and Uladzimir Krauchanka, a journalist Igar Barysau, politicians who organized the “For fair election” campaign Viktar Karneenka and Siargei Kalyakin have their phones turned off. The “Speak the truth” campaign Magileu activists Siargei Laputsin , Igar Kavalenka, Aksana Zakreuskaya, Tatsiana Bulanava and Oksana Samuilava also have their phones blocked.

It's impossible to contact one of the heads of the Magileu independent observation movement “For fair election” Yuri Novikau and one of the activists Yuri Darashenka.
