YouTube Unblocked Film of Studio X97 about the Astravets NPP

Video is again available for free viewing.

YouTube has unlocked Studio X97's investigation film, Astravets of Death.

Within two weeks, over 500,000 people watched it on YouTube and Odnoklassniki social network.

Its popularity scared the authorities so much that state propaganda ONT TV channel, having no legal grounds, demanded to block it.

Charter97.org filed a complaint to YouTube against the blocking of the popular film:

- ONT TV channel, which demanded to block Charter97.org's film "Astravets of Death", is a state propaganda channel. According to the organization "Reporters without Borders", Belarus is steadily among the ten world's "enemies of the Internet" and is regularly criticized for censorship and pressure on freedom of speech.

Channel Charter97video considers the demand to block the film politically motivated. Earlier, the authorities illegally blocked Charter97.org in Belarus. All leading international human rights organizations and the European Union Foreign Ministries demanded to unblock Charter97.org, while two resolutions of the European Parliament were adopted. Now the authorities are also trying to block our video content.

All copyrights of Astravets of Death dedicated to the danger of the nuclear power plant construction were respected. We have specified all the logos, all the sources used, as well as fallen within 13-15 seconds to show the television image, as provided by the rules.

We ask YouTube (Google) management to unblock our video.

As a result, the popular film is again available to the public.
