Aliaksei Kudzin: I Gave The Chastener Such A Dab That Launched Him Into Space

The world champion in kickboxing and Thai boxing about how he was detained by a whole squad.

The law enforcers were shooting at point-blank range at the famous athlete Aliaksei Kudzin in front of his children and wife.

Aliaksei Kudzin, multiple champion of the world in Thai amateur boxing, world champion in kickboxing among amateurs and professionals, got into a fight with law enforcers in Maladzechna on August 10. As a result, three law enforcers were taken to hospital, and the next morning the police came to the athlete's house, were shooting at him at point blank range in front of his wife and two young children, brutally beat him up and took him to hospital handcuffed, Belsat reports.

Aliaksei went for a walk in the center of Maladzechna on August 10 to learn something about the situation in the country, because at that time the Internet was blocked. There he was attacked with batons by several riot policemen, beaten and later detained.

Now Aliaksei Kudzin remains under house arrest and recalls the details of that day.

- I raised my hands and showed that my hands were clean. A soldier in the second line sprayed gas at me. I managed to dodge to the side. Someone hit me on the head with a baton from behind the shield. Five times I got hit. As soon as he hit me, I automatically turned towards him, it was my instinct for self-preservation - I have been practicing martial arts for over twenty years, so I turned around and snatched his shield out of his hands. And with the back of my hand, I slap him in the cheekbone. He goes down flat, just a knockout. At this second I feel a second punch from the side. I manage to dodge and give him a good side kick into the glass. Then I found out that I gave him such a dab that it launched him into space. The glass in his helmet burst out. I gave one more one to the upper jaw and damaged a tooth. Just as I started to turn to run away, I felt a hit in my neck, I turned around, went to my right and hit him with my "trademark"- left hook. He went down flat, too. Then I start to run, another employee blocks my way, tries to hit me, but it didn't work. He fell under the bench.

At the end of the day a special unit of quick reaction arrived to detain Aliaksei Kudzin.

It is known that Aliaksei Kudin has been charged under Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Belarus - violence or threat of violence against an officer of internal affairs. The punishment under this article is arrest or restriction of freedom for up to 5 years, or imprisonment for up to 6 years.
