Vilnius Handed Minsk Note Of Protest Regarding Violation Of Lithuanian Airspace

A Belarusian helicopter has violated the border.

Due to the alleged violation of Lithuanian airspace during the "Freedom Way," a note was handed over to Belarus on Monday, Delfi reports.

"A Belarusian helicopter has violated our airspace. And today the Ambassador of Belarus was presented with a note of resolute protest," - Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius told BNS on Monday.

He said that the helicopter was visible at the end of the human chain in Medininkai.

"It could be seen visually. We have information from our air control that there has been a violation," - the head of the Lithuanian diplomatic service added.

We remind that the Belarusian Defense Ministry got scared of the white-red-white balloons, launched during the "Freedom Way".
