The regime is faced with an insoluble task.

“This is just a perversion of facts, turning it upside down,” Valery Semiletau, CEO of Appservice, comments to Primus on the recent statements of Aliaksandr Lukashenka, who accused drug suppliers and private pharmacies of “capitalizing on people's troubles.” “But this is not the first time we have found ourselves in such a kingdom of crooked mirrors,” Salidarnasts writes.

We have been living in this kingdom in one form or another since 1921. We had a short break from 91 to 93, and then we returned to the kingdom of crooked mirrors and continue to live in it.

The top manager is sure that among the officials today, the majority understand the absurdity of what is happening and explains their inaction with fear.

- Today, I am sure, there are a large number of people in the system who understand that everything they do will not lead to the expected results.

But they do it not based on the principles that they declare, there, caring for people and welfare, so that they do not profit from it... This is done to establish control, to take revenge on entrepreneurs and people who expressed disagreement.

The goal is not to take care of someone, the goal is to control the situation, to punish those who dare to express disagreement. And they will distort the facts as much as necessary and the necessary way. And none of them will consider the second side of the coin because as soon as we consider the second side of the coin, we need to admit the 26-year-old mistakes, open dialogue platforms, and start negotiations, the expert reflects.

Pointing to the obvious similarity between Belarus and the Soviet Union, he explains why a class of political elite has not yet formed in our country.

- For 26 years we have been building a system where there are no objections. There is only nodding and agreement. Everything that we see now suggests that we do not have a formed elite among the political class and big businesses. Because a person who is the elite will object if he sees that the country that he values is falling into the abyss. He will object and say: we are going in the wrong direction, let's stop and discuss everything.

But he continues to nod. Why? So that he would not be personally harmed. If we had the elite, there would be a discussion at the meetings, there would be arguing. And here, those who argued were kicked out long ago. We have built a system where people understand, while I nod — I’m working, if I stop nodding — I’ll stop working.

The entire Soviet Union lived on exaggerated indicators, and the West thought it was twice as large as it really is. When the Belovezhskaya Agreements were signed and the Union collapsed, statistics were revealed and the naked truth was nullified - poverty, unable to provide itself with high-quality food, industry, which is in a decayed state, social health care, which was much worse than in any capitalist country for that moment, and many other pains.

And today we live in the same regime of inflated indicators. We are constantly looking for sources where to get money in order to stand the day and hold out the night. We do not have and have never had strategic planning, - the top manager concluded.

He noted that in Belarus, as in the former Soviet Union, a seizure of power took place, but stressed that in modern conditions it will not be possible to establish military communism.

- I would say that in 2020, we did not have a revolution on the part of society. After all, society has long been the way we saw it, there was simply a catalyst for all this to manifest.

Because all those things that we saw in 2020 could not appear at the snap of our fingers, the foundations were laid long ago.

Last year, there was a Bolshevik coup by those in power. And now, the power is being held by the same instruments that the Bolsheviks used to hold it in the 1920s, realizing that they have no other options except war communism, food appropriation, etc.

De facto, our national revolution took place long ago, we just saw its obvious manifestations. And what we see today from the side of the authorities, and what many call "counter-revolution", in fact, is a revolution, a coup d'etat, and seizure of power.

They are trying to impose the era of war communism on us. But, you need to understand that war communism in those days was formed in a completely different technological society, where social mobility was much lower, where the means of communication were entirely controlled by the state, and much more.

Nowadays, there is a completely different society and, even though many people think that the Internet can only put a person under control, at the same time, it provides ample opportunities for communication, contact, building horizontal connections, etc.

Therefore, building war communism in a single country, especially of small size, in modern technological conditions will be a big problem. Not solvable, I would say, - the expert believes.
