Well-known Belarusian writer Sasha Filipenka reacted sharply on Instagram to the news that political prisoner Stsiapan Latypau cut his throat in the courtroom:

- Stsiapan Latypau, unable to withstand the torture in prison, tried to commit suicide in the courtroom. The power in Belarus is held by a terrorist group, which has been sworn in by judges, the army and the police. Instead of protecting the people, these monsters grab unarmed citizens, and throw them into prisons to the beasts.

Anyone who supports Lukashenka today is either an idiot, or a scum, or both.
