Belarusian border guards intercepted a large batch of hashish. Two Russian citizens tried to smuggle it across the border from Poland.
According to the State Border Committee, two men born in 1997 and 1989 were detained on Monday at the Brest checkpoint.
“The border patrol with the help of a service dog found polyethylene bundles with a dark green substance when examining a passenger car. They transported it in food boxes. The examination showed that the seized substance weighing more than 80 kg is hashish,” the SBC informed.
Criminal cases have been initiated for illegal trafficking and carrying across the state border of narcotic drugs.
