Right Bank Of Dnieper Turns Into Operational 'Mousetrap' For Russian Army

The Russian leadership has announced another "goodwill gesture", namely leaving Kherson and the right bank of the Dnieper. Will they do this, and also where will they redeploy the released reserves?

Military expert Roman Svitan answered these questions on the air of the FreeDom project.

"At the moment there are offensives in some parts of the right-bank front. This includes the area of Snigyrivka and Davydiv Brid... That is, Ukrainian troops are pushing the Russians out, regardless of what they say at the moment," he said.

The military expert added that despite Russia's statements, the AFU are carrying out routine work.

"The fact that the Russians are now feeding this into the information field in this particular way is most likely an indication that they are ready to leave from the right bank to the left bank after all. However they want to present this in the information field as some kind of heroic deed. So they heroize any movement. They basically have no 'back' word, they just turn around 180 degrees and heroically go forward again," Svitan stressed.

He noted that this is how the occupants want to present the expected liquidation of the Russians on the right bank.

According to him, the Russians are doomed in this direction. "The right bank is an operational mousetrap after we are in control of the bridges with our artillery," Svitan concluded.

On November 9, it became known that the Russian army had blown up five bridges in Kherson region. Serhiy Khlan, a Kherson regional councillor, said on the same day that "the Russians' front has collapsed".

Closer to the evening, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu allegedly ordered to pull Russian troops off the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson direction. All this is being done allegedly because of problems with the occupiers' supply.
