Attempted Copying Ukrainian Tactics: Russian Commanders Waste Entire Brigade In Pavlivka

The failure in Vuhledar is directly related to the desire of the generals of the Russian Federation to curry favor.

Ukrainian defenders constantly inflict tangible losses on the enemy, but sometimes the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroy such a large number of invaders in just a few days that the remnants of the defeated units make a real howl in the swamps. This is exactly what happened in Pavlivka, Donetsk region, in early November.

According to Channel 24 sources in the Ukrainian army, the incredible failure of the Russian invaders near Vuhledar is directly related to the desire of the generals to curry favor with their leadership. The leadership of the Ministry of Attack of Russia ordered all staff officers to pursue victories at any cost.

In the absence of any gains on all sectors of the fronts, and also because of the growing criticism from the Prigozhin-Kadyrov clan, it is very important for Shoigu and Gerasimov to show Putin that they are capable of fulfilling the military-political tasks set by the Kremlin.

The attack on Vuhledar was widely announced by propagandists

Despite the incredible severity of the fighting, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to stop the advance of the invaders near Bakhmut, and reduced the offensive capabilities of the Wagner units, those partially mobilized, and local terrorists.

Since the attack on Bakhmut was carried out mainly by the forces of Putin’s cook, who went into opposition to the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Shoigu ordered his subordinates to achieve a resounding victory in other sectors of the front. Like, the army team is still capable of something, despite the furious criticism.

Since the end of October, “military correspondents” and propaganda media controlled by the Ministry of Defense have been “feeding” the Russians a lot of fakes about the start of a successful operation to capture Vuhledar.

In parallel with this, the invaders transferred a large amount of equipment and personnel to this direction for a “decisive breakthrough”. The operation was led by the commander of the eastern military district, Rustam Muradov, and the head of the 155th Marine Brigade, Colonel Sukhrab Akhmedov.

These two figures decided that they were able to play modern mobile warfare and could create in a few days the same thing that the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did in the Kharkiv region. However, the blitzkrieg did not happen.

For several days in a row, the invaders threw hundreds of mobilized in the occupied Donbas into a frontal attack on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine — to reconnoiter the firing points of our defenders, as well as to weaken them.

When they had run out of the cannon fodder, Akhmedov ordered his subordinates to break through as quickly as possible to Vuhledar past the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Like, if you suddenly break into the city, its defense should crumble. The reality turned out to be completely different. The invaders were indeed able to quickly move forward and even drive into the settlement itself, but they were expected to appear there.

Columns of equipment of the elite grouping of the Pacific Fleet got stuck in the mud and were showered with artillery fire. Those enemy tanks and infantry fighting vehicles that managed to reach certain points were destroyed in fire bags.

To help the invaders, who unexpectedly found themselves in trouble, the staff officers decided to send a bunch of infantry, which was also almost all laid in the ground.

The “incredible” offensive of the Russians led to huge losses among the combined army. According to Channel 24 sources, the 155th Marine Brigade actually became incapacitated, and near Vuhledar, the Armed Forces of Ukraine defeated up to three enemy BTGs.

The stupidity of the command, as well as the punishment for it from the Ukrainian Defense Forces, was such that the surviving marines began to publicly complain about Akhmedov and Muratov. Like, because of the two military leaders we suffered enormous losses, save us from the evil AFU. This led to another wave of howling in the swamps, blaming the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for all the failures.

The situation became so resonant that the generals had to turn on the propaganda machine again and officially report through the Russian media that there were not many losses. At the same time, the occupational defense ministry called the loss of soldiers near Pavlivka “an effective offensive operation”.

Vuhledar bears strategic importance

The willingness of the Russian generals to lay in the ground several thousand people near Vuhledar in a few days only emphasizes the fact that it is extremely important for them to recapture this city from the control of Ukraine. After all, now this is a good springboard for our further offensive in the Mariupol line, which will allow taking under fire control the supply lines of the occupying troops in the South. So far, the logistics of the invaders through the Crimea have been significantly disrupted, and in the event of similar problems in the East of Ukraine, the entire group, which is located in the occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, will “hang in the air”.

Meanwhile, after a series of shameful defeats in Ukraine and terrible losses, Russia decided to throw even more of its “citizens” into the muzzle of the war, and extinguish the Ukrainian resistance with massiveness. The practices of the times of the Second World War will stimulate the Russian “mobilized to graveyard” to go to meet their death. How and why the Russian barrier troops work — we will tell later on.
