Ukrainian Pilots Break Blockade of Azovstal: Stunning Video

The AFU broke through to the defenders of Mariupol seven times, delivering ammunition and necessary equipment.

Sixteen helicopters loaded with necessary equipment flew to the defenders of Azovstal. Each time, Ukrainian pilots successfully delivered ammunition, food, water and medications.

According to Dnepr Operative, there were seven such missions in all. During one of them, 72 fighters of the Azov regiment were ferried to reinforce the garrison.

Only on the way back during the fifth and seventh missions, the occupiers managed to shoot down one Ukrainian helicopter each. The invaders also destroyed a search and rescue plane that had flown out to help the downed Ukrainian pilots.
