AFU Unexpectedly Strikes On Enemy Positions In Donbas

The Ukrainian military stopped and pushed back the occupiers on four frontlines at once.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped and pushed back the enemy on four frontlines: Kharkiv, Sloviansk, Lysychansk and Zaporizhzhia.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this on Facebook.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus are conducting scheduled exercises to involve communication centers of command posts near the Volhynia-Polesie front.

On the Siversk frontline, the aggressor was hit by cannon and rocket artillery in the areas of Pokrovka, Starikove, Porozok and Verhnia Pozhnia, Sumy region. An Orlan-10 type UAV carried out aerial reconnaissance of the military positions in the border areas of the Chernihiv region.

On the Kharkiv frontline, the grouping of enemy troops is focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of the AFU troops to the state border of Ukraine and continues to conduct assault operations in order to improve the tactical situation and constrain the actions of defence forces units.

The enemy launched airstrikes in the area of the of Yavirske settlement and also launched artillery attacks against infrastructure in the areas of Kharkiv, Ruska Lozova, Stariy Saltiv, Pobeda, Chepol and Milova. Ukrainian defenders successfully repulsed the enemy's assault on the Dovgalivka-Zaliman frontline. The occupiers retreated.

On the Sloviansk frontline, the enemy conducts assault operations towards Dovhenke-Dolina and creates conditions for an attack on Sloviansk. The main efforts are focused on the continuation of the offensive toward Izyum-Sloviansk. They are shelling the AFU positions with artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. An UAV conducted aerial reconnaissance in the area of the Grushuvakha settlement. The defenders resolutely stopped an attempt of an enemy offensive on the Dovhenke-Dolina frontline and threw the enemy back.

The enemy did not conduct active operations on the Kramatorsk frontline. The enemy carried out artillery attacks on the areas of the settlements of Mayaki and Tatyanivka with gun artillery.

On the Lysychansk frontline, in order to inflict damage, the occupiers, in addition to using mortars and gun artillery, launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Mykolaivka and Yakovlivka. The enemy is conducting assault operations in the direction of Volchoyarivka, the southern outskirts of the Lysychansk Oil Refinery, and the fighting continues. The enemy leaves no hope of taking control of the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway. The enemy carried out reconnaissance in combat in the direction of Mykolaivka-Spirne in order to expose the firing positions of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and later to lead the offensive in the indicated direction. Ukrainian soldiers successfully suppressed all attempts and forced the enemy to retreat.

On the Bakhmut frontline, the occupying forces shelled the areas of Konstantinivka, Bilohorivka, Pokrovske, Bakhmut and Soledar. The enemy is also storming in the direction of Mironivka - the Vuhlehirska Power Station, the fighting continues.

The enemy did not conduct active operations in the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhya directions, firing with the gun and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Vodiane, Avdiivka, Yekaterinivka, Komar, Shcherbaki, Zeleny Gai and Novodanilivka. The enemy launched airstrikes near Kamenka, Avdiivka and Shevchenko. The defenders repulsed the assault against Yegorivka - Pavlivka. The enemy retreated with losses.

On the Southern Bug frontline, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on holding the previously occupied lines, preventing Ukrainian troops from carrying out counteroffensive operations in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. The enemy defeated some units of Ukrainian troops using gun artillery and multiple launch rocket systems in order to prevent the regrouping of units of the defence forces. Aviation struck in the area of the settlement of Potemkino.

The warship grouping of the Black Sea Fleet continues to perform tasks of blocking sea-lanes and conducting reconnaissance in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Two sea-based cruise missile carriers with the Caliber-type missiles are ready for action in the Black Sea.

Сombat aircraft of the Air Force launched powerful air strikes on the positions of the occupiers. In fact, Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft and Su-24M bombers made up to twenty group sorties on all the frontlines. Actually, Ukrainian warriors continue to fulfil rocket and artillery fire missions successfully.
