Russian Troops Encircled When Trying To Recapture Kupyansk

Dozens of invaders have been eliminated.

The Russian occupying troops made an attempt to re-enter the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. Units of the 200th separate motorized rifle brigade of the RF Armed Forces tried to recapture the settlement from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result, the enemy was defeated, and retreated. Journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk reported this on Telegram.

According to him, the enemy units that tried to recapture Kupyansk were encircled and partially defeated by Ukrainian soldiers.

The Russian invaders lost about 40 people — 30 killed and 10 wounded. The company commander is wounded.

Also, during the offensive attempt, the Russian occupying army lost 7 armored vehicles.

“In the course of an attempt to recapture Kupyansk (Kharkiv region), units of the 200th separate motorized rifle brigade (military unit 08275, Pechenga) were encircled and partially defeated. The losses amounted to: about 30 killed (two assault groups); 10 wounded (including the company commander), and about 7 units of armored vehicles were battered,” Tsymbalyuk said.
