On the night of November 18, an IDF drone struck terrorist targets in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus.
Among those killed was one of the leaders of Fatah, Mahmoud Al-Zufi.

The statement said the drone attacked a secret hideout used by Palestinians associated with terrorist activities against Israelis, where they were preparing for upcoming attacks. However, it was clarified that the target of the attack was not Hamas members, but an apartment used by militants from Fatah's military wing, known as the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades.
“Five militants, including the leader of the organization’s terrorists in the Balata camp, Mahmoud Al-Zufi, were in the apartment at the time of the attack. Their deaths were confirmed by the Red Crescent”, the report said.
Al-Zufi, who had previously been involved in planning attacks in Samaria and Jerusalem, was responsible for wounding two Israelis in the April attack in Jerusalem. The IDF and Shin Bet noted that Al-Zufi actively recruited the youth of Balata to create a terrorist cell, providing them with explosive devices and weapons to attack Israeli military personnel entering the refugee camp.
Previously, the IDF showed how a powerful UAV destroyed a group of terrorists in Nablus. The air strike was aimed at the building where the Fatah movement headquarters was located in the Balata camp. All the wounded, taken to the local Rafidia hospital, were members of the so-called Balata battalion, associated with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades.
