Ukrainian Armed Forces Demolish Russian Troops On Islands In Dnipro Delta

Losses led to riots in the ranks of the invaders.

Unnamed units of the Russian army suffered significant losses as they didn’t get sufficient support on the islands in the Dnipro Delta, located in the Kherson region.

This is reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

According to analysts, the losses caused outrage against the Russian military command. It is reported that the commanders of the occupiers allegedly ignore the complaints of the personnel about heavy losses and difficult conditions.

A company commander of the Russian army tried to evacuate his unit from the island, but senior commanders stopped the evacuation, sent the commander away and fired two other commanders who supported the withdrawal.

Other Russian army officers criticized the higher command for failing to take responsibility for the evacuation. The Russian information space has previously criticized the military command for similar failures in the battles near the Antonivka bridge.
