Russian Dugouts Falling: Ukrainian Forces Advance Near Verbove On The Southern Front

The Ukrainian army breaks through to Tokmak.

Ukrainian forces have achieved new successes in Zaporizhzhia, the Southern Front. They reached the village of Verbove, which is located 9 km east of Robotyne and 20 km from Tokmak, dialog.ua reports.

Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shoots dugouts and trenches with the Russian military, suppressing resistance attempts by the invaders.

The military expert of the Kravchuk Telegram channel published a map of the progress, compiled using geolocated data obtained from new videos from the western part of Verbove.

“The advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the village of Verbove was spotted, the dugouts of the Russians are also falling there,” the message reads.

The expert emphasizes that the success near Verbov is important since it allows the expansion of the left Ukrainian attack flank.

“This is very necessary now since the Armed Forces of Ukraine have penetrated the Russian defence line and in order to prevent a fire bag, the flanks must be covered,” the message reads.
