Belarusbank Introduced Changes To Real Estate Loans

Since February 14, Belarusbank has reduced interest rates on the Ipoteka Express real estate loan for some clients. This affected those who are in line for improved housing conditions.

The standard rate on the Ipoteka Express loan is 14.4% per annum. For those in need of housing conditions improvement, from February 14 it was reduced to 11.5% per annum (refinancing rate of 9.5% + 2 percentage points).

This loan is intended for the purchase of residential premises. The bank can issue a loan up to 100% of the value of the property, but within the limits of the client’s solvency. The loan can be obtained for a period of up to 20 years.

“The bank makes a decision on the loan application no later than the next working day after registration of the application,” Belarusbank clarifies.
