YouTube Blocks About 40 Regional Russian Channels

The popular video hosting service has dealt a blow to Russian propaganda.
YouTube has blocked more than 40 regional channels of the Russian state television and radio broadcasting company. This is reported by The Moscow Times.
YouTube has blocked the following channels: State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Mari-El, Udmurtia, Belgorod, Bryansk, Murmansk, Pskov, Rostov, Tomsk regions, and Zabaikalsky Krai.
Similar situation with Russian TV channels in Vologda, Irtysh, Perm, Saratov, Tyumen, Adygea, Karelia, Komi, Yakutia, Altai and other regions.
When trying to access the page of any of these channels, a message that they are inaccessible is displayed. Russians are already complaining that YouTube has not notified them of the reasons for the blocking.
