Important Russian War Criminal Liquidated In 'Crocus'

He came from Ukraine "for a holiday".

Russian GRU special forces colonel Timur Myasnikov, who returned from Ukraine, died after being wounded during the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall shopping centre. This is reported by the Russian edition of «Mediazona».

According to the publication, which refers to the Telegram channel of Suvorov school graduates and the Samara branch of the "Officers of Russia" organisation, Myasnikov received three bullet wounds and died after three days of doctors' observation.

A special forces officer, Myasnikov "distinguished himself" in military service in Kosovo, Tajikistan and Ukraine. For the past two years he had served in the third brigade of the General Staff's special forces and fought in Donbass, and returned home a few days before the terrorist attack.

"Just a few days ago, he had come on holiday to visit his family in Moscow. And, what an awful thing to happen, decided with his wife Polina and son Ruslan to go to Crocus for a concert," wrote the head of the mentioned organisation Artur Malivanchuk.

According to Mediazona's insider information, Colonel Myasnikov was registered at the official address: 19 Znamenka Street, Moscow. That is where the General Staff building is located.

According to the latest data, 143 people became victims of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall.
