At the Minsk airport, border guards detained a man who was trying to take his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter abroad using a false passport.

As the press service of the State Border Committee said, on March 25, when registering for a flight from Minsk to Sharm El-Sheikh, a Russian citizen presented a fake passport of his one and a half year old child. The man was detained.

During the interview, the Russian citizen explained that he was currently in divorce proceedings, and his wife held the child’s real passport. In this regard, the man decided to buy a passport for his daughter on the Internet and illegally take her abroad.

The Russian man was handed over to police officers, and the child was returned to her mother.
