Russia confirmed that the Ukrainian forces eliminated Russian Major General Vladimir Zolotukhin at the front. He was the commander of the Bryansk group of troops.

Russian propaganda Telegram channels reported that a memorial plaque was installed in the Suvorov Military School in St. Petersburg for war criminal Zolotukhin.

The report reads that the invader was destroyed on May 11, 2024.

As stated in a message on one Russian public page, on the alley near the entrance to the St. Petersburg Suvorov Military School, the names of many graduates who were liquidated by the Ukrainian forces are “immortalized.”
