Supercomputer Deprives England Of Euro 2024 Main Favorite Status

France has become the favorite.

The French team is now the main favorite of the upcoming European Championship 2024 in Germany. According to the assessment of the supercomputer of the statistical company Opta, the probability of its victory is estimated at 18.4%.

Just ten days ago, the supercomputer called the England team the main favorite and gave it 19.9% of victory. France was then in second place (19.1%).

Now the supercomputer estimates the probability of England winning the championship at 17.9%. The top 5 favorites also include the teams of Germany (14.5%), Portugal (11.1%) and Spain (10.3%).

The chances of the current European champions, the Italians, to defend their title, according to Opta, are 5.2%.

The least likely to win the tournament are the Georgian team (0.1%).

The European Championship starts on June 14 with a match between the teams of Germany and Scotland.
