Six People Detained In Fanipal

For participating in protests.

A Telegram channel close to law-enforcement agencies published a video of six residents of Fanipal detained for participating in a protest. In the video, the detained Belarusians say that they participated in a protest in 2020 in their city.

Mediazona found profiles of three of the detainees on social media: Viktoryja Yanushkevich, Ivan Melnik, and Andrei Shaikouski. The latter was detained together with his wife.

The status of the detainees and the article under which they are accused is unknown.
