A thermal power plant and an oil terminal were hit.

On the night of July 5, a rather turbulent situation reigned in the Russian regions. UAVs attacked an oil refinery in Rostov, as well as Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Krasnodar Territory, which could have damaged infrastructure. Focus has collected everything that is known about it.

Governor of the region Veniamin Kondratyev wrote in his Telegram channel that Russian air defense systems were able to intercept several drones, but the debris allegedly damaged infrastructure.

The video also captured the moment a drone struck an electrical substation in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, which was published by the Russian media “Caution, News.” Journalists claim that after this, local residents lost electricity and water.

Explosions in Rostov: details

On the night of July 5, explosions were heard in the Rostov region. At 03:01 am, governor of the region Vasily Golubev wrote that air defense units began working on several air targets. Later it was added that 10 drones were allegedly intercepted over the region.

“According to operational duty services, as a result of an air attack and the fall of UAV debris, landscape fires were recorded on the left bank of the Don in Rostov and in the Azov region. Fire crews went to the scene of the fire. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. The information is being clarified,” wrote Vasily Golubev.

The Russian media SHOT claims that local residents heard about 10 explosions during the night, and a fire started in one of the areas after that. Townspeople suggested that the target of the attack could be the local Thermal Power Plant #2. The authorities did not comment on this version at the time of publication of the material.

The Astra Telegram channel wrote that the oil terminal located in Rostov could also have burned after the attack, but the Russians did not officially confirm this version.
