Belarusian MoD Deploys Weapons To Ukrainian Border

Another mechanized unit has been sent.

The Belarusian MoD is sending additional weapons to the border with Ukraine in the Homel region. The Defence Ministry's Telegram channel reads.

The Defence Ministry said that units of one of the mechanized formations have been put on alert to perform their intended tasks.

"The troops are loading weapons onto rail transport and are starting a combined march to the designated areas," the department said in a statement.

Recall that on August 10, Defense Minister Viktar Khrenin announced the strengthening of troop groups in the Homel and Mazyr tactical directions.

Before that, Aliaksandr Lukashenka announced the elimination of drones in the airspace of Belarus, which Ukraine allegedly launched.
