The son of Russian presidential spokesman Dmitri Peskov - Nikolai Peskov (also known as Nikolai Choles) - has once again been in the spotlight. As "Metla" reports, during the period when Nikolai Peskov claimed that he was in the PMC "Wagner", he was actually vacationing in the Maldives.

Remember, earlier Peskov Jr. became the hero of the story with a telephone prank of journalist Dmitri Nizovtsev, who called him on behalf of the military commander. Then Nikolai refused to appear at the military enlistment office, explaining that he "had to solve the issue at another level." He later claimed that he had volunteered to serve in Wagner and even received a medal "For Bravery." According to him, he spent "a little less than six months" at the front.

According to leaks from the Border Service, however, Peskov left Russia on January 31, 2023, and flew to the Maldives, where he spent about three weeks. In September of that year, he visited the region again. Peskov's son also traveled to Turkey and the UAE on several occasions. This information cast doubt on his claims of participation in hostilities.

The media and anti-corruption organizations previously reported on the real estate owned by Dmitry Peskov's children. Nikolai owns an apartment on Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street in Moscow, and in March 2024 he became the owner of a house in the cottage village DSK Bakovka in Odintsovo.

In addition, Peskov's daughter, Elizaveta, previously owned 25% of the French company Sirius, to which was registered an apartment of 180 square meters in Paris worth about 1.77 million euros. The Anti-Corruption Foundation argued that the family's official income did not allow for such a purchase. Dmitry Peskov denied the family's connection to the deal, saying that his daughter "lived in Paris very poorly and was never a major." In 2022, Elizaveta Peskov was hit by EU and US sanctions. In response, she said she thought the restrictions were unfair and emphasized that "she likes to travel."
