"They Look In Every Box, Even The Small Ones."

The queue to leave Belarus for Poland reached 1,600 cars.

A large queue has again formed at the checkpoint "Brest" at the exit from Belarus. As of 10:00 (Minsk time) on August 1, 1600 cars and 32 buses are waiting to leave Belarus.

It takes more than two days from the moment of registration in the electronic queue to enter Poland, writes Most.

Drivers, who registered in the waiting area on the Belarusian side on July 29, write in the border chats that they were able to get to Poland only on July 31 - it took 50-56 hours. Now the queue is longer - accordingly, the waiting time will also increase.

The BY Border Queue bot service estimates that drivers who register in the queue on August 1, will spend 3 days 19 hours and 43 minutes in the waiting area - and will get to the Belarusian border control in the morning on August 5.

Bus

Crossing the border by bus on the night of July 31 to August 1 with a transfer to the nearest buses to the barrier took from 6 to 8 hours. Without a transfer - 14 hours.

In the opposite direction

There are occasional queues from Poland to Belarus, but not as long as in the direction of Poland. Crossing the border by car takes from 4 to 7 hours. The time of crossing the border by bus in the last 24 hours took from 3.5 to 11 hours.

Travelers report that the Polish services carefully check those who cross the border through the "green channel".

"Especially thoroughly shake the buyers. All the things on the table, they look into every box, even small ones, they unwrap clothes and "feather them". If the powder is in a soft package, they are sure to touch this package, and maybe you are carrying something there. In short, they are vigilant," writes one of the users of a border chat room.
