A Former Cleaning Lady Bought A Cottage In An Upscale Neighborhood Of Minsk

In the spring of 2025, one of the cottages in the upscale “Olympic Park” complex in Minsk got a new owner. As "Zerkalo" discovered, it was purchased by Irena Eremich from Grodno, who until recently worked as a cleaning lady. With the help of “Cyberpartizan,” we confirmed that she is the mother of Bozhena Eremich, who heads the National School of Beauty.
What kind of house is it, and who is the seller
The mansion on Ratomskaya Street has an area of 610 square meters and is built on a lot measuring 14 sotkas.
The new Yeremich cottage is part of the “Olympic Park” complex next to the “Lebyazhy” nature reserve. The land for its construction was awarded to the developer “Tapas” by decree of Lukashenko without an auction; construction took place in 2019–2020 despite protests from environmentalists. The result was several high-rise buildings, six duplexes, and a gated street with 13 cottages.
Irena Eremich bought this mansion in February 2025 from Lilia Belaya—the mother of entrepreneur Pavel Beloy, who owns “Tapas,” the company that built this house. Belaya herself had purchased it just two weeks before reselling it; the amount of that transaction was $837,000.
Interestingly, this is not the only instance in which Lilia has acted as an interim owner of real estate. According to “Zerkalo”’s calculations, at least six apartments and two houses passed through her hands, which she sold less than a year after acquiring them.
It’s unclear why such a scheme was necessary. Behind the scenes, there may have been a below-market price, a discount, or an informal installment plan.
Who is Irena Yeremich and what is her daughter Bozhena known for?
Bozhena Yeremich has had a meteoric rise in her career in recent years. After Alexander Lukashenko visited her university, she began attending events in which he participated. In 2020, she graduated with honors from the law faculty of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
In February 2021, the 21-year-old lawyer was on the presidium during the “All-Belarusian People’s Assembly,” and in October, she became the head of the National School of Beauty.
Yeremich is now 27 years old and serves on the Minsk City Council of “Deputies.” She regularly appears at events attended by Alexander Lukashenko—for example, this spring she swept the ground while he planted trees during a community work day. She is also raising a son whose father remains unknown.
Her mother, Irena, is a private person. In 2021, Bozhena said that her mother works as a cleaner. At one point, she was officially employed as a janitor. In an interview, Eremich called her mother her best friend.
The young woman’s father, Viktor, works in a furniture factory. Eremich said that neither of her parents has a college degree. According to her, her mom and dad have always supported her, and now they’re helping her raise her child.
Who is Pavel Bely?
Pavel Belyi is a businessman and hockey player. For some time, he played on Alexander Lukashenko’s hockey team, where he was the dictator’s top scorer and top assist provider. Bely is also one of Minsk’s leading real estate developers. He owns the “Tapas” group of companies, which builds residential and commercial properties in various districts of the capital.
Not long ago, Bely’s business faced some difficult times: in 2023, there were reports of financial problems at his companies and his departure from Lukashenko’s hockey team (a source at “Zerkalo” linked these events). It’s hard to say what’s happening with his business now: one company affiliated with “Tapas” recently received government support, while another was selling off its assets.
