Russia's Belgorod Plunged Into Blackout Again

Powerful explosions sounded in the Russian city of Belgorod in the morning of February 7. After that, half of the city lost light and water.

This is reported by OBOZ.UA with reference to the Russian media. Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov claims rocket fire. Reportedly, the city's cellular base stations and Internet providers' equipment were left without light. At the same time, it is difficult to reach the support services: the lines are either de-energized or overloaded due to the large number of calls.

Preliminary information suggests that the city's Luch thermal power plant was attacked, where regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov currently works. It is also reported that the city center has been de-energized, where even a traffic accident has already occurred due to traffic lights not working.
