New details of the attack on the Samara region.
On the night of Wednesday, April 23, Ukrainian long-range UAVs flew over 1,200 km and attacked strategic facilities in Russia's Samara region. According to preliminary information, the Novokuibyshevskaya Petrochemical Company was hit, Dialog.UA reported after analyzing social networks.
The air alert in the Samara region was announced early in the morning, at 05:27. At the same time, the region closed airspace at all altitudes.
At 06:48, Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev spoke about the drone attack and that an industrial enterprise in Novokuibyshevsk had been attacked. The video is published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.

It was first reported that an oil refinery in Novokuibyshevsk was attacked again. OSINT analysts later clarified that Ukrainian UAVs flew to the Novokuibyshevsk Petrochemical Company, which is part of Russia's military-industrial complex.
"NNK is one of Russia's largest gas processing and petrochemical companies. The plant produces raw materials for explosives, including benzene, phenol, acetone and alfamethylstyrene.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andrey Kovalenko earlier said that these components are used in the production of TNT, hexogen, tetryll and other types of explosives.
Because of all this, "NNK" in Novokuibyshevsk is a legitimate target for the AFU. The Ukrainian Defense Forces have previously attacked "NNK", for example, Ukrainian UAVs struck this enterprise on the night of July 22, 2025, as a result of which explosions were recorded on its territory.
