Putin Canceled The Red Square Parade?

The air part is definitely not going to happen.

Ex-company commander of the Aidar battalion Evgeny Dikiy in the air of Radio NV commented on the information that the Russians are pondering to cancel the parade for May 9.

"That they are pondering about it is already 100%. It's not our assumptions, because they have already definitely (it's known, it's announced) canceled the air part of the parade," Wild noted.

He also explained what this means:

"Their air defense is not able to distinguish between friend and foe, and so the only way to cover themselves from the sky is to give the air defense a command to shoot down everything that flies. And that is why the air parade is canceled, so that everything that will fly on May 9 will be Ukrainian and not Russian. That is, they have already publicly recognized the quality of their air defense.

But, the veteran added, there is still intrigue about the ground part.

"Even if at the last moment they do something on the run, run across Red Square, the very fact that they are forced to prepare it in secret - that says it all. But we'll see if they will at least risk a run. Not a fact."

In 2026, there is very little information about holding a parade on Red Square, there are no traditional rehearsals."
