NATO Named Shocking Figures Of Losses Of Russian Occupants

Russia loses more in a month than the USSR lost in 10 years in Afghanistan.

Russia loses more people every month in Ukraine than the USSR did during the entire decade of the Afghan campaign.

This was stated by Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, head of the Alliance Military Committee, in an interview with "RBC-Ukraine".

According to the admiral, there is now a virtual stalemate on the front - no major breakthroughs are expected on either side. But at the same time, Russia is losing about 35,000 people every month.

For comparison, the Soviet Union lost 20,000 people during the entire 10 years of the Afghan war.

"They are losing about 35,000 people a month. For comparison: in the entire 10 years of the Afghan war, the Soviet Union lost 20,000 people. That's impressive. Despite the stalemate, they are taking colossal losses every day. It's unbelievable," Admiral Cavo Dragone said.

When asked about the way for Ukraine to win the war, the admiral answered unequivocally - it is to exhaust Russia and its economy to the point where it cannot continue the war.

"Yes. And if the confrontation in the Strait of Hormuz ends, we will need to go back to the regime of sanctions and the like. That's what I'm hoping for," he added.
